Lou Guldemond es un guitarrista autodidacta de los Países Bajos. Tocó con grupos de diferentes estilos como Pasadena Dreamband (disco), Top Secret con el saxofonista Toon Roos (fusión), Batida con el cantante Joseé Koning (brasileño), Brigitte Kaandorp (comediante), Big Black & Beautiful (teatro). Ha tocado en diferentes países europeos y en el extranjero (Taiwán, Indonesia y Aruba).
También produjo el primer álbum en solitario (It’s Happening) del músico de jazz holandés Martijn van Iterson.
En este momento, Lou es miembro de Licks & Brains (bigband NU-jazz dirigida por Rolf Delfos). Licks & Brains ha trabajado y grabado con varios artistas holandeses conocidos como Eric Vloeimans, Anton Goudsmit y Benjamin Herman. Así como con artistas estadounidenses como Joseph Bowie (Defunkt), Eric Alexander y Houston Person.
En su álbum That’s it! encontrarás once pistas en el estilo Smooth Jazz, todas escritas por Lou.
Lou Guldemond is a self taught guitarplayer from The Netherlands. He played with groups in different
styles such as Pasadena Dreamband (disco), Top Secret with saxophonist Toon Roos (fusion), Batida with singer Joseé Koning (brazilian), Brigitte Kaandorp (comedian), Big Black & Beautiful (theater). He has played in different European countries and abroad (Taiwan, Indonesia and Aruba). He also produced the first solo album (It’s Happening) from dutch jazzguitarplayer Martijn van Iterson.
At the moment Lou plays with Licks & Brains (NU-jazz Bigband conducted by Rolf Delfos). Licks & Brains worked and recorded with several well-known dutch artists such as Eric Vloeimans, Anton Goudsmit and Benjamin Herman. As well as with American artists such as Joseph Bowie (Defunkt), Eric Alexander and Houston Person.
