Arreglos vocales, melodías pegadizas, armonías y arreglos, interpretaciones instrumentales en su más alta calidad son las características de la música Westcoast. Su origen proviene precisamente de la Costa Oeste de Estados Unidos de mediados de los años 70. Los músicos cercanos al rock y al pop fueron los "creadores" de este estilo musical que, con el paso de los años, avanzó por otros países y continentes, desde Japón hasta diferentes países europeos sin límite geográfico.

Its origin precisely comes from the American West Coast in the mid-70s. Musicians close to rock and pop were the "creators" of this musical style that, later and over the years has advanced through other countries and continents, from Japan to different European countries without geographical limit.
