Based in Naples, Francesco is involved in the city’s musical environment, where he soll shares the stage with local bands and musicians. In “The sun city” he recorded different soundtracks for important Italian TV channels like RAI Italian Television and he parOcipated on famous Italian singers CD projects like Don Backy, Carmelo Zappulla and Enzo Polito.

In the meanwhile, he was part of the MSC Cruises and Costa Cruises music staff, work that gives him the opportunity to play almost all around the world (Europe, North Europe, United States, Central America, Caribbean, South America, North Africa, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, China ed Australia) with a worldwide public. During this period he had partecipated like saxophonist to Smooth Jazz, Blues and Bossanova cruises and he had the chance to share the stage with world-famous musicians like Victor Wooten, Jeff Coffin, Les De Merle Big Band, Bela Fleck And The Flecktones, Michael FranV, Karl Denson, and Mr. Jay Corre.

Francesco’s new album “TRIP” is a compilaton of all his experiences around the world and the Ome he passes together with his sax and musicians during his career and lifestyle.

Francesco says "Trip is my first album as soloist. A journey that includes my musical experiences over the years between Naples, the family band, collaborations with some Italian artists and with Rai TV; the different sounds acquired thanks to the meetings with many artists in Italy and around the world; and the passion since my early ages for the smooth jazz genre.

The idea of creating this piece has always existed and has taken shape over the years thanks to the possibility of experiencing the smooth jazz world closely. In fact, my music is influenced by the style of saxophonists such as Boney James, Dave Koz, Kirk Whalum, Eric Darius, Richard Elliot, Euge Groove, Najee, Jeff Kashiwa and many others and I also had the opportunity to attend live performances and seminars of some of them in Florida and on cruise ships where I worked as a musician for a period of my life. There I have the chance to participate to smooth jazz, blues and bossanova cruises.

TRIP is a smooth jazz album inevitably contaminated by our culture, our melody, what we are and how we express ourselves: as Italians and mediterranean people."
