Violinist / producer / bandleader Peter “Peet” Ferencz explained the title as follows:
“When I was a kid, I spent the summers by Lake Velence, a lovely natural lake near my hometown. I have always dreamed of having a house there and now I am blessed to live there actually.
“When I was a kid, I spent the summers by Lake Velence, a lovely natural lake near my hometown. I have always dreamed of having a house there and now I am blessed to live there actually.
Whenever I hear somebody say “let’s go down to the lake”, my heart begins to beat faster and I am always in! Lake Velence is a lovely, upbeat resort area and the summer sunsets are just breathtaking there. We strove to encapsulate this feel in the song and in the accompanying video, hoping to make listeners be a part of the experience, as if they were there with us.”
