TAKOSHA SWAN · SILENT NIGHT

Voice Of A Swan

Voice of a Swan, Takosha Swan, is a classical and jazzy composer and soloist of relaxing and calm music with a touch of the Romantic Era. Her experience started by studying Whitney Houston and mimicking Whitney's every curve and hitting every high note. She then begun to step into the mic growing up in church, where her grandmother was the choir director and pianist. Takosha was born singing as a soloist but she learned how to harmonize in the choir, in quartets and direct music at church under the tutelage of her grandmother. In her high school years she auditioned for the A cappella choir and after being accepted into the choir, she earned her first letter on her Varsity Jacket and she also opened up her ears to new genres like classical musical!

She has over 30 years of experience as a singer. With that she has written original songs as a soloist displayed here on Voiceofaswan.Com. She has 2 albums, "Serendipity" and "Christmas with The Voice of a Swan." She taught vocal lessons with Take Lessons and her own company Voice of a Swan, LLC. She was a director at Youth Challenge Academy under the tutelage of Chaplain Sylvester Moore and his wife. In the past 20 years she has sung for countless military balls and ceremonies and received awards for her continued service to America, as she is also a war veteran of Iraqi Freedom war and the wife of a soldier now serving in his 23rd year.

In February 2020, The Voice of a Swan informally released her latest single, "The Veteran Anthem: I'm Still Me." An anthem composed to heal the minds and souls of veterans, service-members and their family members that are struggling with suicidal thoughts (Please see the Wordwide Veteran Suicide Prevention Tour). She holds a Bachelors in Business Management, a Masters in Business Administration and a year of law school studying contracts.
