The 25th Street Band comenzó su vida como un show de la policía estadounidense/espectáculo funk (recuerda el tema de Tom Scott,  de la serie de TV Starsky y Hutch).

Han tocado en el circuito London Club/College. Desde entonces, se ha convertido en un proyecto global de grabación de jazz crossover, con sede en Londres, Reino Unido. 

La música de The 25th Street Band, es un crossover de jazz melódico con base en los Estados Unidos, que abarca desde jazz-funk hasta smooth jazz lírico. Las influencia les vienen de grandes leyendas como ... Jay Graydon, Al Jarreau, The Crusaders, Dave Grusin, Jeff Lorber, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Lee Ritenour, Yellowjackets, Benson, EWF, Stevie Wonder, Toto ...

Al principio trabajaron con George Michael, para quien llegaron a escribir una canción, y también con la banda británica de pop-funk Imagination. Han llegado a contar con artistas invitados de todo el mundo. Los s más recientes son músicos de sesión de renombre, Mornington Lockett (saxo), Hussain Jiffry (bajo), Tom Brechtlein (batería) y Bill McBirnie (flauta).

Estos músicos han llegado a trabajar con artistas como Whitney Houston, Stevie Wonder, George Michael, Elton John, Sergio Mendes, Ronnie Scott, Herb Alpert Chick Corea, Robben Ford, Chaka Khan ... y muchos más.

The 25th Street Band ha lanzado dos álbumes anteriormente y ha sido presentado y entrevistado en la radio a nivel mundial, incluida la BBC.

El nuevo single de The 25th Street Band "Holding On To Love" presenta a Joel Kibble de Take 6, el legendario grupo de jazz/gospel acapella (ganadores de 10 álbumes Grammy's /platinum), además del maestro vocalista de gospel, Josiah Ruff






The 25th Street Band started life as an American police show / funk show (remember the Tom Scott theme,  from the TV series Starsky and Hutch). They have played on the London Club / College circuit. Since then, it has grown into a global crossover jazz recording project, based in London, UK.

The music of The 25th Street Band, is a melodic jazz crossover based in the United States, ranging from jazz-funk to smooth lyrical jazz. The influences come from great legends such as ... Jay Graydon, Al Jarreau, The Crusaders, Dave Grusin, Jeff Lorber, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Lee Ritenour, Yellowjackets, Benson, EWF, Stevie Wonder, Toto ...

At first they worked with George Michael, for whom they came to write a song, and also with the British pop-funk band Imagination. They have come to have guest artists from all over the world. The most recent s are renowned session musicians Mornington Lockett (sax), Hussain Jiffry (bass), Tom Brechtlein (drums) and Bill McBirnie (flute).

The 25th Street Band has released two albums previously and has been featured and interviewed on radio worldwide, including the BBC.
