Después de un largo período de silencio, ¡la banda alemana de Nu-Jazz finalmente ha vuelto! Este álbum relajante y agradable, maduro y seductor nos brinda un soplo de frescura con la brisa marina del Algarve en el fondo.

 El quinto álbum del Bahama Soul Club está inspirado en el entusiasmo multicultural de los jóvenes de todo el mundo, atraídos por la costa de Bohemia, en la parte más al sudoeste de Europa, en busca de un estilo de vida inconformista y fascinante, hecho de hedonismo hippie e infinita diversidad musical.

 “Después de innumerables ideas y numerosas demos en los últimos cuatro años, las mejores canciones han sido cuidadosamente seleccionadas”. En 2018 se lanzó el sencillo "Never Roam No More" con extractos de grabación vintage de John Lee Hooker. En 2019, "Aint Nobody's Business" con Billie Holiday fue un gran éxito, mientras que "Tears Run Down" ve la participación de una verdadera leyenda, la legendaria Wynona Carr.

Durante la producción, los Bahama Soul Clubs se dieron cuenta de la extraordinaria complejidad de los artistas locales, personas de gran talento que actúan día y noche en bares y playas. Se necesitarían álbumes interminables para hablar sobre todos estos ellos. ¡Pero hay muchas ideas interesantes para el futuro!

 Para comenzar, el estudio se inundó con una mezcla ecléctica de música espléndida con Josephine Nightingale apareciendo en "Mercy Me" y "Castelejo" y Taly Minkov-Louzeiro prestando su talento a "'Troubles all be gone'". La última pista del álbum "Castelejo" es una canción a la que la banda está particularmente unida, rinde homenaje al difunto Vitor Hugo, con Rui Correia en el acordeón y en la voz Cutty Wren y Hedvig Larsson. Estos artistas provienen del vecindario local, literalmente de al lado. ¡Son un gran descubrimiento!

 Por último, pero no menos importante ... Una de las voces más bellas de la familia Bahama Soul Club ... la encantadora artista cubana Arema Arega, que muestra todo su talento indiscutible en "Mango" y "Alma Sola".

 Se incluyen además dos remezclas fantásticas de dos maestros indiscutibles: ¡el Club des Belugas y Smoove!

 "Bohemia After Dawn", ha sido compuesto durante los últimos 4 años, es un disco que no busca el placer, pero que es apreciado por su simple complejidad, madurez y delicadeza. Cada canción hace lo que promete, sin compromiso.

 Bahama Soul Club’s 5th album draws deep inspiration from the multicultural verve of young worldy folk drawn to the Bohemian coasts of the most southwestern part of Europe, where hippiesque hedonism, infinite musical diversity, and offbeat enchanted lifestyles fuel the scene.

“From countless ideas and numerous demos over the past four years, we handpicked those few songs that shone the brightest. “2018 saw a single release 'Never Roam No More' featuring the legendary John Lee Hooker. 2019 'Aint Nobody's Business' featuring Billie Holiday hit the scene. Another real legend, Sister Wynona Carr is featured on 'Tears Run Down'.

 Increasingly during production we became aware of the amazing complexity of local artists, talented individuals to be found performing all day and night in the bars and near the beaches. It would take more than a couple of albums to bring these troubadours together. So there are exciting ideas for the future!

 For this album we began with just few, an eclectic mix, and we found our studio blessed with some serious vibes. Josephine Nightingale 'Mercy Me', 'Castelejo' and Taly Minkov-Louzeiro 'Troubles all be gone'. The ultimate track on the album 'Castelejo' is dear to our hearts and an homage to the late Vitor Hugo, featuring Rui Correia on accordeon and vocals by Cutty Wren and Hedvig Larsson. These artists are from the local neighborhood, quite literally across the lane. What a blessing, what a discovery!

 Last but not least … One of the most exciting voices in the Bahama Soul Club family so far ... an ongoing love, Cuban artist Arema Arega is somewhat a permanent feature and shows her talents in 'Mango' and 'Alma Sola'.

As if this weren't enough, two cool remixes from the masters of the scene: Mighty Club des Belugas and SMOOVE himself! Nuff said.

 Bohemia After Dawn, matured for 4 sunny years doesn't say "Hey, please like me". It is just there, in its simple beauty, unobtrusive yet quietly confident. Every song shaped tothe max, no compromises. Promise!
